Black out Tuesday

I am joining the Black Out Tuesday and not posting new content on this site today.   The Beatles would not perform to segregated audiences.    They took a stand against the racial injustice they encountered.   The death of George Floyd and so many others that were unjust breaks my heart so much.  It also pains me to see the rioting is happening in my country and in my own town.

I understand the anger and where people are coming from.   I just will always believe peace is the answer.   Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friend.  I have said it so many times on this site.   If we want change to happen, we have to start with ourselves.   We can't control anyone else in this world.

Take time to really think about what YOU can do to make a positive change toward people that are not the same race as you.   What can YOU do to spread the Beatles' message of peace and love to that person?

I don't know what the solution is to all of this.   I am just an overweight middle-aged white woman that loves the Beatles.   I can't do a whole lot.  The one thing I can always do is love.  I can show kindness and love toward everyone.  It does not matter the color of their skin, their religion, their political party, sexual orientation, or ability level.    I see so much hate going on right now.    I think a good start would be for each of us to stop spreading hate and start to just love.  It won't solve all the issues that people are protesting about, but it might just make a small difference.

  1. Well said. Let's hope there is peace and love for all on the other side of this.

  2. What can *you* do? Donate and vote to remove the people currently in charge. When you have leaders inciting hatred and violence, enabled by members of their political party, it's time for all of them to be swept out and replaced by anyone else. It can't get no worse. All you need is love... and a ballot.

  3. I read your blog for the Beatle stuff, but when you get political you ruin it.

Black Lives Matter, the New Black Panthers, the Congressional Black Caucus, the Nation of Islam, and the NAACP are all black racist, black supremacist terror organizations that incite/commit racist violence against white men, white women and white children every day of the year since the early 1960's. But you never see this on TV, in your newspaper, or in anything out of Hollywood, because that is all controlled by the Democratic Party.

But even now, watching these black racist rioters on TV, assaulting white people who look like you and your loved ones, looting liquor stores, setting fires, attacking the police, you don't believe your own eyes and feel sorry for black people because it goes against everything the media has been telling you your whole life.

According to government statistics, blacks commit most of the crime in America, including most of the assaults, rapes (blacks rape hundreds and hundreds of whites every year, but whites never rape blacks, except in Hollywood, of course) murders and hate crimes, and most of their victims are white. And black cops shoot white people all the time. But there are never any protests or riots. Most of the crime and racism in America comes from blacks and most of it is directed against whites. And blacks are only 12% of the population!!!!!

What do you think these black racists would do to you or you loved ones if they got their hands on you? Would they be impressed that you're scared of them, that you hate white people? That you support what they are doing? By your virtue signalling? Or would they beat your face in, rape you, slit your throat and post the video online?

I suppose if you read this, you'll call me the racist, since you've been conditioned to do that. But what have I said that is not true? You can verify the crime statistics online. And you can seek out and read about the white victims of black racist crime. Like the 18 year old white cheerleader in Florida who was kidnapped by a gang of black racists, raped and fed to an alligator. And the black racist cop in Minnesota, who, one night, just decided to shoot dead a white woman who was visiting from Australia. Read about Christopher Newsom and Channon Christian! These crimes happen every day. But no riots.

Your ignorance about the real world is appalling. You should get educated and learn to think for yourself instead of following the mob.

Or maybe just stick to Beatle stuff.

    1. Wow and all I said is that we need to love one another instead of hate. Anyone that knows me will tell you that I am the LEAST policial person on the planet. I just have this crazy idea that if each of us show a little kindness to others, we might all make a small difference in the world. It is proabably a naive thing to believe.

The truth is that I agree that Black lives matter. I also believe that multi-racial lives matter, Hispanic lives matter, Asian lives matter children's lives matter and yes white lives matter. Whenever I see an unjust thing happen to anyone of any race is alarming because that person had a life and that life was importnat. School shooting is something that is close to me because I am a teacher and I belive the lives of every child that died in a school shooting matters. Right now today we are takling about Black lives. I teach Black children and have for 16 years. I want this world to be better for them.

I am educated. I do think for myself. I don't watch the news and I hide everything that has to do with politics on Facebook. No one is brainwashing me to think a certain way. I just simply think we need to spread love instead of hate.

    3. Violence & looting solves nothing; people are now afraid of going out with this insanity as well as the covid. Giving peace a chance and showing love is not happening now. When will we learn?

  4. Sara, don't let one hate filled viewer get you down or discouraged. You did what your heart told you to do. Yes, its a Beatles site, but, yes, you are a human being with feelings too and you are allowed to show them on your own sure if you feel like it. I don't think that viewer's comment had any love in it at all. Isn't it a pity? All you need is love. Give peace a chance. Come together. Angry viewer, do these sayings mean anything to you at all?

    1. I have posted Beatles content on this site for 99.99% of the time for 11 years. Even this post is Beatles content as the image came directly from Apple. I don't understand why people are acting as if I haven't posted Beatles things consistantly for 11 years. Because I advocate for love and peace? More Beatles coming your way soon. I promise.

  6. It's her blog and Sara can post whatever she wants to. I also prefer sticking to Beatles which she does brilliantly. Reason being that things are overwelming now and the hateful A. Sharpton is adding to the mix. Agree with 6/4 1:51. Try to be calm everyone.

  7. Sara you did nothing wrong and you need not apologize. I believe in God. God is not a liberal or conservative. I pity the people who think he is. Max Weinberg in Bruce Springsteen's band once said that when he and his wife are sad, they play Beatles records. It makes them happy. Sounds good to me. Johnny Silver

  8. Post script: there's a saying that's older than me or any of you on this board: you want to start trouble, bring up religion or politics. Sara you did nothing wrong. Someone turned this thread upside down way too fast and it went downhill fast. I have pretty strong political convictions like most of you, but I'm not going to go to a MUSIC blog to spew my political rants. Check your egos at the door before you post here. Honestly, some of you owe Sara an apology. Sara, thank goodness you are here. MeetTheBeatles blog is dead and for me your great blog is the BEST. Please continue your good work and do not be bothered by this nonsense. Johnny Silver.

  10. Sara pardon my error in previous post. I meant to say BeatlesPhotoBlog was over and done, not your site. Apologies for any confusion. Johnny Silver
