This photo is pictured in Carol Bedford's 1984 book "Waiting For The Beatles". She was one of the Scruffs standing there for this impromptu performance, but I don't know if she took the photo. I have a negative enlargement of this photo that I got directly from Carol.
It is hard to believe the date is correct. That day George and party returned from Sardinia and he was wearing similar clothes, but a t-shirt. Can't imagine him going to Apple right away ....
