Port Sunlight

I spotted this on Mark Lewisohn's Twitter today and wanted to share it with everyone here.

RIP Monty Lister, age 92. On 27 October 1962, in Port Sunlight, Monty recorded the Beatles’ first radio interview, made for two local hospital stations. He then ducked out of the associated photo. Monty was a good man who for decades worked tirelessly for local communities. RIP.

  1. So sad that so many who actually were there, especially at the beginning are leaving us. Of course, that's what happens when time passes.

  3. Monty Lister was a likely lad, weren't he?

  4. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention. ฉากถ่ายรูป
