Salsa music

John and May with a salsa music producer, Jerry Masucci.   I have yet to find the connection between John and Jerry, but I am still searching.

  1. Maybe they were both working at the same studio at the same time? The woman next to John does not look happy at all. (MarkZapp)

    1. If John Lennon had his arm around me, I sure would look a LOT happier about it. LOL!

    2. John Lennon had a long track record of saying and doing abominable things to women, so I am not surprised.

    3. I would too, Sara S. She looks very grouchy!

    1. really don't know what to think of May outside of her being John's squeeze so long ago and still seeking publicity about it

    2. yeah; as John stayed married and basically only lent out to her by Yoko until Yoko took him back is odd in itself...also that May did marry Tony, had kids but keeps on about a very lost and (as stated) so long ago relationship. sad.

  3. "Abominable things to women?"? Why would you come to this site in the first place let alone comment here, you schmuck!

    1. Hmmm...where to start? How about John's behavior at Paul's 21st birthday party in Liverpool?

    2. WHY do you come to this site if you only dwell on John's least proud achievments? Are you a troll? John and The Beatles changed history and you are here you troll him???

    3. John didn't do anything to a woman at Paul's 21st birthday party. Yes, he aced out but it wasn't towards a woman. Why are wasting your time on a Beatles site if you hate one of the members of the group so much? John Lennon is long dead. He admitted his behavior was often unacceptable and appeared to be extremely contrite by the end of his life. He made efforts to change and he did. Who are you, the ghost of Albert Goldman? Perhaps you should be on another site focusing on the "abominable" things being done to women by men in 2019. Men who are wimps to the point they cry like a little girl when called to testify during confirmation hearings.

    5. remember reading that outside at Paul's party there was a girl talking with some blokes and a drunken John grabbed her, she shoved him away and then they sent him home in a car with his wife Cynthia

    6. From The Beatles Bible website...

Billy J Kramer later claimed that Lennon had also been abusive towards a girl at the party.

I wasn't present at the incident in which John attacked Bob Wooler. I just knew that Bob was a mild mannered, inoffensive person who had done a lot for the Beatles career in Liverpool. I was outside the house with Billy Hatton of the Fourmost talking to a girl when John came out. He'd had a skinful and he grabbed the girl. She shoved him away and he swore at her so Billy and I persuaded him to calm down. Cynthia came out and she was in tears and she asked us if we could put John in a taxi. So we did.

  4. It's possible to be great fans of the Beatles, and love their music, but at the same time feel disappointed or be critical of some of the things they did. It's the excessive adulation that leads some fans to blame other people or situations by justifying or denying the behaviour that's the problem.

    2. I don't consider any of the behavior towards women as described above as abominable. Stupid, drunken behavior but not abominable. Lennon's attack on Bob Wooler was abominable, if you must use the word, than anything he did to a woman or woman. As a woman I don't understand why women don't stand up for themselves once in awhile instead dissolving into tears.

    3. I'm sure many women do stand up for themselves. I'd say a difference in physical size would come in to it. All unprovoked attacks on another human being (or animal) are abominable. Drunkenness is no excuse. John was out of line.

  5. to grab, hit or verbally assault a woman from a man drunk or otherwise is not acceptable

  7. From everything else I've read he always acted out violently when drinking. To men, women, and onbjects. Perhaps a allergy to alobjects. No excuse for some. Viable excuse for others. Who knows what his deepest darkest hangups were.

  9. "no one is really smiling. Smiling is also overrated. It's a way of comforming to make other people feel comfortable. No reason to attack women for not smiling"
