This is what Lizzie posted on her Facebook about this great photograph:
I had the pleasure of introducing this young man to my dear friend and his mega fan Nicia who came to London on holiday with her parents. I took this and other photos of them that night. It was quite late and he was leaving the studios.
I am very puzzled by the combination of this Date and Paul's outfit. On this day Paul was wearing very different clothes.
ReplyDeleteThe photo was taken early morning hours -- so he would be wearing what he wore on the 22nd.
Deletea bit of a giggle remembering how at the time some of us had our mums or aunties copying this jacket for us to wear
ReplyDeleteIt's an awesome jacket now, what do you mean a giggle??!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHe probably still has it anyway, knowing Paul.
didn't mean the jacket's a giggle only the thought how much we wanted one like it
DeleteI know!!!
DeleteAnd I still do - want one like it!!!
wasn't that jacket one of the items stole from his home?
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was anons Aunty who climbed in through the bathroom window- just for the pattern like!!
ReplyDeleteI never heard anyone say the joker jacket was stolen from his house. Our friend Evy from New York (R.I.P.) had her mother make her one, she wore it in London outside Paul's house at the time. I wasn't there that day, but apparently he was surprised when he saw it. There's a place that makes them, I have seen Tony Bramwell wearing one. I'll try to find the link and post it here. Regards to all from Rio de Janeiro.
ReplyDeleteDear Evy was the only person I knew whose actually looked like Paul's and he thought it was his when he saw it , shook her up slightly & then apologised
DeleteI do remember hearing he did that, though I wasn't there that moment.
