Photos from December 2, 1967 when the Beatles had a fancy dress party to celebrate the release of Magical Mystery Tour. A lot of crazy stories out there about this night. Has anyone ever seen a photo of Cynthia, George or Pattie at this party. They were there, but there doesn't seem to be any photos of them (at least not that I am aware of).
I've heard that George and Pattie arrived late and that is why there are no photos of them arriving. I always wanted to see Pattie dressed as that belly dancer! Apparently, John got drunk and hit on her at the party, making Cynthia cry. Lulu, dressed as Shirley Temple, give him an earful! Why no photos of Cyn, I never heard why.(MarkZapp)
ReplyDeleteI never saw photos of G, P or C either. John is wearing a Brazilian necklace. My friend mailed it to me in a small box and I handed it to him outside the studios. I lived in London at the time, but didn't know this was happening nor was invited (as usual!).
