Had a big hit in 1963 with,"Walking The Dog". He was a DJ as well.
That is Rufus Thomas, from Memphis. I believe these are from Ringo's "Can't Fight Lightning" sessions in 87 (maybe). Rufus Thomas was a radio DJ who had hits on both Sun Records(Bear Cat) and Stax Records(Walking The Dog).

Rufus' real claim to fame was Do the Funky Chicken. A monster hit in the seventies.
