Back porch with Paul

One of my all time favorite stories of meeting one of the Beatles for real will be the time that Barb Fenick met Paul at his house.   These photos from that day are the best quality I have found yet.   If you haven't read her story in a while, it is worth a read.

  1. I was a member of the Write Thing for years and Barb's favorite Beatle was definitely Paul. I don't think she had a good experience with John.
I seem to remember a story about her and friends in 1969 ringing John's doorbell and John sticking his head out of his upstairs bedroom window yelling " fuuk off" LOL
I don't blame John. Your home should be your private space

  2. Jeff- the lads' homes & apartments always had fans outside during 67 thru 70's

    1. Hanging out in front of the home is one thing but ringing the doorbell is going too far IMO. And of course hanging out now by their home is the worst thing you could do after what happened in 1980 and 1999/2000.

  3. When I saw these pics again today I remembered how Paul would call his daughter Stellie and wife Linder

  4. Enthusiastic fans vs. stalking... Once upon a time, it was just enthusiasm. Whatever you want to call it, it paid off for Yoko.

    1. Your comment was in extremely poor taste. You should be ashamed of yourself.
