This photo just reminded me of something: in my life as a backing vocalist, I wore headphones hundreds of times. But... the first time I ever used a headphone like the one in this photo, it was Paul himself who placed it on my head! He said "excuse me", arranged my hair, put the earphones on, and told me I should leave one side away from my ear so I could hear the sounds in the room. I don't remember his exact words, just the "excuse me"part. My friend Denise, a devout Paul fan, who was outside waiting for Paul (and for me to come out!) nearly fainted when I told her. If it had been John, I don't know if I would be here to tell this story. John touching my hair? My little teenage heart (I was 16 at the time) probably would have given up on me! John fans like Sara will understand.
