Sashes--the statement of 1963
Going through photos from 1963 over my holiday break, I noticed a trend in some fans. The wore these sashes that would either say "Beatles" or the name of their favorite guy. Really this wasn't a bad idea. It would be easier at the concert than holding a sign. It is larger and therefore easier to notice than a badge. And since Beatles shirts weren't available in mass in 1963 and fans usually had to create their own, it was easier than making a shirt. I wonder why fans stopped wearing them.

these sashes were a great idea cause the girls made them while together sharing their love for the Beatles
