A young lady gets ready to take a photo of the Beatles sculpted in butter in 1964. When they said everything had the Beatles' image on it---they weren't kidding!
I remember seeing this sculpture at The Canadian National Exhibition in 1964. My father, even though in his mid-forties at the time, was a big fan of The Beatles. He encouraged my younger brother and I to listen to their music and even took us to see the movie "Help!". Thank you for posting the photo.
It was based on a short story written by Philip Van Doren Stern - which he composed on a Christmas card. (That must have been a really short story!) Jimmy Stewart who plays the leading job almost turned down the part.https://www.buyyoutubesubscribers.in/
