Engaged but never married

I have always thought that this photo of Paul and Jane at Mike McCartney's 1968 wedding was the perfect example of the wedding photo that never happened.

  4. it was for the better for both of them. paul didn’t have a healthy relationship with jane and jane felt trapped. they both ended up having happy and healthy relationships, everyone should just move on already.

  5. Yep, so unhealthy how Paul shared his most private feelings with Jane. John, George and Ringo didn't have happy relationships with their wives either; their marriages broke up. I don't think any of them had truly healthy relationships, before or after, it's just the nature of fame.

  6. Why should people move on? It's very sad that it didn't work out but Jane is just as much part of the Beatles story as everyone else. Paul wrote his classic love songs during their relationship and a good many of his other great songs were influenced by her. Perhaps airbrushing her from history would make some people happy.

    1. Jane will always be a part of Beatle history! as will Cynthia, Pattie & Maureen. Lovely women who were behind their men for a long time.
