Loading gear into the Cavern



There was a bit of a buzz on facebook about this photo, with some people thinking that the Beatles are in the photograph and that is the Beatles' van being unloaded.

However---I just think it was another Mersey Band getting ready for a Cavern Club show.

    Ah, if only we could step inside a photograph and walk around the world therein. How empty would be the streets of 2016.

    I think seen the posters/ flyers it's from about may 5th 1964. On YouTube is a coulorfilm from pathe about the same period seen the posters.
