On April 4, 1962, the Beatles Fan club sponsored a special night for the Beatles. Not only was it a going away performance before the guys went back to Hamburg, but it also was a special night because the first half of the show was done in their leather gear and the second half was in their brand new suits! Many of the fans hated the suits at the time. The Beatles stayed after the performances and did their first ever autograph session. The photo shown here is from that night. Because it was a special night sponsored by the Beatles' fan club, some fans brought cameras to the Cavern, which they typically never did.
