The 1965 Ed Sullivan Performance

America didn't get to see the performance until September 12, 1965, when it was broadcast (sadly in black and white---the last Ed Sullivan Show to be shown in black and white), but it the Beatles performed "I Feel Fine" "I'm Down"  "Act Naturally,"  "Ticket to Ride"  "Yesterday" and "Help!" 50 years ago today on the Ed Sullivan stage.

    Sara, leave it to you to post the cream of the crop, stuff I at least have never seen, gorgeous, super-cool shots.

    I didn't know that was the last show to be broadcast in black in white!
