The night that changed America

I wrote a lot last year about the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964.   I encourage you all to use the "Ed Sullivan Show" tag and look at those articles from last year.

For me, the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show was the "beginning" of the Beatles.    Sure they were big in 1963 in England, but when they played the Ed Sullivan show in New York City and all of the fans were screaming and fainting.....they made it.   It was the start of the Beatles as we all know them.   Here it is 51 years later and their performance on the Ed Sullivan show still excites me.
