Paul's Lifetime acheivement Grammy
Last night Dhani Harrison accepted the Grammy's Lifetime Achievement award for his father, George Harrison. Paul and John have already been awarded this award. Paul was the first to get it in 1990 and John in 1991. As a Beatles fan, I was a little shocked in 1990 when Paul won because...he still had a lot of his life left to live! And sure enough he has done a lot more in the past 25 years. Here are some photos from the 1990 Grammy's

ReplyDeleteany pics of Dhani accepting award?
ReplyDeletesara were you little shocked in 1990 when Paul won because...he still had a lot of his life left to live? don't you think it is better to be awarded in life that in death?
ReplyDeleteOh definitely! I just recall that in 1990 I thought Paul was a bit young to be winning a Lifetime Achievement award....like they were saying that his best music was behind him and he should quit. Besides...it seemed like the Beatles as a group could have won before Paul because in 1990 they weren't getting back together.
