Ringo row the boat ashore

It was 50 years ago today on January 8, 1965 that after the Beatles concert they  (well all but George) went to a boat show.   Here is a quote taken by Barry Miles' Beatles diary:   "The Beatles were given a private view of the Boat Show at the nearby Earl's Court Exhibition Hall. By midnight they were paddling around an artificial lake in a rubber dinghy and trying out the radio-controlled mini-powerboats."

  1. Fascinating, I never knew of this, nor have I ever seen photographs of it! New to me! There you go! MTBFR doing it's job, yet again!!!

The tagline to this blog should be ".....and you think you knew The Beatles!"....ha!
