Ringo row the boat ashore
It was 50 years ago today on January 8, 1965 that after the Beatles concert they (well all but George) went to a boat show. Here is a quote taken by Barry Miles' Beatles diary: "The Beatles were given a private view of the Boat Show at the nearby Earl's Court Exhibition Hall. By midnight they were paddling around an artificial lake in a rubber dinghy and trying out the radio-controlled mini-powerboats."
