Post Beatles Grammy

Isn't it really strange that the Beatles win a Grammy award for Best Music for Let it Be, the very album that Paul disliked the final product.   And yet, Paul was the only member of the Beatles present to receive the award?     Discuss amongst yourselves...there is your topic.

  1. I think it was primarily Phil Spector's overdubs onto only one track on that album ("Long and Winding Road") that Paul objected to. The rest of the album, like his fellow Beatles, he heard, approved of, and signed off on to release in 1970.

I'D ask why then, if he dislikes it soooo much, Paul continues, to this day, to perform PHIL'S arrangement of "Long and Winding Road" in concert ;-)
