Amazing finds, Sara! I had never seen any of these photos before.
There's Neil Aspinall in the first pic.
These were taken in Syracuse NY on John's birthday. The Everson Museum in Syracuse let Yoko have the entire museum for her exhibition. They also visited the local Indian Reservation of the Onondaga Indians. Just so happened that I was there for the show and got a chance to chat to them for just a moment....
Great photographs. Never saw them before!
It was an amazing event, not so much seeing Yoko's half of this and that stuff, but seeing John, Ringo, Maureen and even Spector walking in the lobby of the Hotel Syracuse was pretty cool. John had his Rolls parked in the garage, and the doors were open....of course nothing was 'taken', but it was pretty cool to sit in it - even the boot was unlocked! A good friend of mine were the people that baked John's bday cake...when they visited the Indian reservation, I had a chance to speak to John about the plight of the Onondaga Indians there.
