June 12, 1965 - arriving at Twickenham Studios for the press conference announcing that the Beatles were to be awarded M.B.E. medals. Afterwards they watched a preview of the their movie Help! at the studio viewing theatre.
John was over an hour late arriving. Apparently, he was lying in bed and the phone was ringing and ringing, but it was the phone he doesn`t answer so he ignored it, and they eventually sent a car for him.
