As mentioned before, the Harrison parents were well loved by all of the fans. After Louise Harrison's death, Harold was alone and I think George was feeling a bit sad for his father and so he asked Harry to join him on the tour of the United States for at least part of the 1974 tour. Fan were happy to see George's Dad as you can see from these fan photos of him taken at a hotel in 1974.
Aw, great pics! I thought it was way cool that he grew his hair long!
