These 3 photos seem to have been taken during the same time frame (not the same day). These photos are supposedly taken in 1977. John's hair and glasses remind of me 1977, but I did not realize that Julian visited his Dad in the spring/summer of 1977. I know he was there in the winter plus Julian looks a little younger than 14. I guess I am just confused about the date of these. Any help out there? Maybe I need to look in Cynthia's book, John. She talks about times her son went to see his Dad.
I have a copy of the second photo purchased thru one of the Beatles fanzines in the 70's or 80's. I don't really know any details about the photo - but it has been stored in my scrapbook in the summer of 1976 section just before the clippings of John receiving his Green Card. On the back I wrote (long ago!): "Julian, 13, visiting John and Yoko in New York." Sorry I couldn't be more help!
ReplyDeletedear sara, i don't think the boy in the first photo is julian... i have seen it discussed before. look closely and you will see. i think he must be related to the man in the photo.

ReplyDeleteHi. I am new here but may be able to add to this. I have a picture of John in Montauk with Julian. I did not take this picture, my aunt did in 1977. In the photo, you can clearly see John and Julian's profile. I have always been baffled by this beacause I was never aware of a Julian visit in 76 or 77. I will try to post the photo when I find it.
