Someone on tumblr sent me this photo along with a question about the year. I have to admit that I am not sure. As this Beatle fan pointed out, John looks like John from the late 1960's, but Yoko looks like she did around the time she gave birth to Sean in 1975. It also appears that they are in New York City. Does anyone have any information about this photo? Check out the kids playing the background...gotta love that!
Looks like 1975 to me, and it also looks like they're on 72nd Street almost a block west of The Dakota.

ReplyDeleteI'd go slightly earlier, maybe late 1974? Looks like West 72nd to me - just walked that stretch last night on my way home.
ReplyDeleteIt can't be late 1974, because John was still with May Pang then. My guess is the spring of 1975, although I am not sure. Good to know the location of the photo!

DeleteThe faces are pasted in. How do I know? Because Yoko would have to be wearing very high heels to be that tall, normally her head comes up to just below John's chin walking on NYC streets she would NOT be wearing high heels.....Mark my words,it's a fraud..
