Is Ringo Starr looking for you?

Well friends, this is a first to report.   Normally I talk about fans who have met one of the Beatles.   Today I am going to talk about one of the Beatles who wants to meet some fans. 

Ringo Starr took this photo in 1964 and he is now looking to track down the people in the photograph he took.    Ringo isn't sure, but he thinks this photo was taken in Miami.    I hate to disagree with Richard Starkey M.B.E., but why would kids in warm Miami be wearing such heavy coats?   I think this photo was most likely taken in New York City, although it could possibly been in Washington D.C. (although I do not spot any snow in the photo, so that is less likely than New York).

This blog has had very good luck tracking down Beatles fans from around the world.   It would be amazing to me if I could help one of the Beatles locate the fans in the photo he snapped.   Can't you just hear Ringo saying, "And I would like to thank Sara from Meet the Beatles for Real for helping me."     Alright...enough of my daydreams and back to business.

Look carefully at this photograph.    See if you recognize someone you might know.   Someone you used to work with, went to school with, was neighbors with, etc.  Especially think if you recall anyone ever talking about seeing the Beatles in a car during their first U.S. visit.  I would imagine if you were looking inside of the car and Ringo Starr was holding a camera, you would tell others about it.      I don't expect to start off by  one of the people in the photo just popping up and saying, "that's me!"   But if someone recognizes the fan in the photo and we can have a name or two, that would be a great start. 

Keep passing this photo around and asking others.  Someone knows who these fans are and can help Ringo with this mystery.
