Remember the Yugoslavian Beatles fan club president who met the Beatles in 1967 that I wrote about last week? Here is another photo of him presenting Paul McCartney with a gold record in what appears to me to be around 1974? Veljko grew up to be a full fledged reporter on rock music! Pretty awesome!

ReplyDeleteRight, it was during the visit Paul McCartney paid with Wings to Zagreb where they had a concert at the Dom Sportova venue. Veljko Despot was runing international dept with local major record company at the time. He released complete Beatles and solo work catalogue.
