I am excited to share with you this rare photo (and you have to know that I don't use the word "rare" very often) of Paul McCartney from 1963 leaving EMI studios. Any guesses as to what they were recording? Who is the fellow in the background?
It's possible he wasn't there for a recording session. Judging from what he is wearing this looks like it may have been taken in November 1963. They were there to recieve gold records from the EMI execs and pose for photos with them and their gold records. There also may have been a luncheon afterwards.
