This is a "picture of a picture" that took while I was in Liverpool. You can read the text yourself. It is an interesting photo.
There are two photos, which I am including with this post that went up for sale on ebay in 2007. They are pretty tiny, but were taken on the same day as this photo.

ReplyDeleteA few years ago when the same photo of John, Cynthia and John's cousin Michael was listed on ebay, the info in the description said it was taken at cousin Michael's home, "Aramore", in Rock Ferry in December 1964. Can't confirm if that's correct or not, but the furnishings in the photo and the wallpaper don't match with any other photos taken at Mendips and there are quite a few photos taken at Mendips from that era to compare. I think the text with the first picture may be an error?
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing, Lynn. I couldn't recall exactly where the auction said the photos were taken, but I didn't think it looks like Mendips. I was just inside of Mendips and they recreation didn't look like that. That is why I personally didn't say it was Mendips...just said to read what it says. :)
DeleteCute, isn't it, John smiling widely at the photographer in the first pic? It reminds me of the pic Linda took of Paul where he is smiling shyly at her ;)
