I saw Paul make this gesture in '76. I remember because I was using my grandfather's big binoculars, and Paul was looking right in my direction from the grand piano.
That is pretty cool! If we had a picture of him doing it in 1976, I would put it in the middle. Maybe I should look through all my Paul concert photos from the past years and see if I spot more.
