Look at the girl who is standing behind John. She is a fan who doesn't care that John isn't with Cynthia that night. She is just trying to get up the courage to say something to John. She looks a bit in awe and frightened at the same time. I sure hope she at least said "hi" to him.
Ha! She probably is thinking that she's got a better chance now than she's ever had! John has left his wife!
