It is nice to see more frames of Paul and the fans crowding around his car as he leaves Cavendish Avenue on his 25th birthday. Not only do we get to see Cavendish house in the background, but we also see that Paul's passenger is his brother Mike, who is documenting this event.
Taken by Daily Mirror photographer. the press interest wasn't because of his birthday; it was because of his LSD use admission in LIFE magazine which had been picked up on in all the papers. He gave his "I have had tea, Indian tea.. and biscuits" interview at Cavendish the following day (19 June)
Love the Rutles reference there Anonymous! I am sure that the press was there because of that interview statement. However, I think the fans that are around Paul's car were there to wish him a happy birthday.

DeletePaul looks so uncomfortable in the photos...I can't help but think, "Leave the poor man alone!!!"
