New photo is for sale on ebay right now. No comments from me on the price. They say that this is John smoking pot. I am not sure what he is smoking. But it is a nice, color photograph. Yoko seems to be wearing a dress that is long, which she didn't do very often. And she has on the headband to cover up the scar from the car accident.
Great photo, I wonder if that's before or after performing?
ReplyDeleteI blew the photo up as best I could and it appears he doesn't seem to be smoking anything. He seems to merely have his fingers by his mouth.

Should be before playing at the Toronto RnR Peace festival on september 13 1969. It's well known that John was a bit sick before the concert, and vomited for nervous tension. In the picture seem both dressed as in the show, so my idea should not be mistaken...
ReplyDeleteJudging by John`s furtive "look" he`s definately smoking a joint, and as noted by Anon, he`s down to the roach (or the filter in the US). It hasn`t been long since he was busted in England so he may be extra edgy about been noticed.
