Much thanks to "The Gilly" for posting this one.

  1. I tried to find out a bit more about this photo.
It seems to show the Beatles leaving a store with a number of purchases. The sign reads Austin Reed and Regent.
Indeed: Austin Reed was and remains a clothing store in London`s Regent Street and counted the Beatles among their customers.

Photographer Bill Zygmant remembers taking them there:
His first photo shoot with The Beatles came shortly after they released their first record.
He said: "I took them to Austin Reed's in Regent Street - they were in bowler hats, with walking sticks, as city gents really."

And finally I found the photo as well with a caption reading:
The Beatles at the Austin Reed fashion store in Upper Regent Street, London, in August 1963. Photo by Tony Gale.

During my search I stumbled over a photo that needs to be inserted into the "Making-of-a-moptop"-timeline:

Not sure what they mean by "The Austin Reed Mural" or if it is related at all.
