It looks to me that the fan in this photo has been sadly cut out for Alamy Images. But Linda and Paul are holding what is a pretty common gift to give Paul, a customized t-shirt. For this one, the fan took then-recent photo of when son, James was born and put it on a shirt. The handmade t-shirt is always a good way to get a Beatle's attention.
