Banned Lennon

An interesting John Lennon autograph popped up on ebay a couple of weeks ago.   Back in 1970, when John's artwork was getting banned all over the place, one art gallery in the U.S. was raided of the art and eventually forced by law to burn John's drawings.   This sounds crazy to me today.   Burn John Lennon's artwork?  Seriously people?

There are photos of the art getting burned, but someone was wise enough to remove john's autograph off the drawings before the burning happened.
