Not the Magical Mystery Tour


I think the Wings 1973 tour bus is just as if not more groovy than the Beatles Magical Mystery tour bus.  I wonder if they were both painted by the same people?   Can you imagine seeing this parked in the parking lot?  (Much thanks to Guus for posting this on the solo forum this week)

    So, I am chatting with a childhood friend a while back and our common love for The Beatles comes up. Then out of the blue she writes,
    "Yeah, and I was inside Wings tour bus that year." What the....? How many years have you kept this from me??? Seriously. LOL

    Sara,

    It was in Örebro, Sweden in August of 1972. I've emailed for more info so I'll add to this later. I'm pretty sure she said she rode in it.

    My dad and two of his mates painted this tour bus, they only had three days notice to do it as well. It was commissioned by the tour promoter. They didnt do the Magical mystery tour one though.
