Bob sent along this upgraded George photo (slightly larger without a watermark) that he found many moons ago on a blog. There is still no real answer as to when this photo was taken exactly. However, most of us agree upon the year 1966. And the general agreement is that it most likely was taken in September of that year in India.

I think he grew his hair in India and had it longer by the time he returned to England.
