That's model Carole Chilvers dancing with George in A Hard Day's Night. Interesting to see a color still from the scene!
Carole was a former County Council clerk. Only three weeks after quitting her clerk job to model full time she landed the small uncredited role in the Beatles' film. Carole modelled for Mary Quant among others. In 1966 she married fashion photographer Frank Sweeney.
Thanks for the info about Carol Chilvers. I notice that you spell her first name with an 'e'. I'm on the Connecticut Post website looking at a slide show of wedding gowns through the years and one of the pics is of Carol and her husband, Frank Sweeney. Found your site by looking for info about this couple, as in, did they stay married. Haven't found the answer to that, but, I like your site and this is a great photo of lucky Carol with George, my favorite Beatle.
hi would it be possible to give me a bit of info on carol please what she did kids ect only she used to be my aunties best friend when they were younger and she was just wondering if she had a good and happy life many thanks donna xx
it's so nice to see how many people are interested to find out about what happened to others who had been associated with the lads at some point as in this case of Carol
Carol was my lovely cousin who I grew up with alongside in Surrey. She tragically died young in Canada but is still remembered with love, affection and admiration.
Hi Peter.. I knew Carol very well. We lost contact with Phillippe too. Carol was a very close friend of my Dad, Syd Hislam... I still think of her often 💔
