Ann Wright's Scrapbook

Paul McCartney arrives at the Edgewater Hotel. The photo is kept in a scrapbook made by Ann Wright, wife of former Edgewater Hotel manager Don Wright.

From left, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have a meal at the Edgewater Hotel. The dishes The Beatles used during their last breakfast at the hotel were given to daughters of hotel manager Don Wright.
All of these photos are from a woman named Ann Wright's personal scrapbook.   They were taken during the Beatles 1964 tour when they stayed at the Edgewater Inn in Seattle, Washington.  The Beatles were booked into the hotel by Ann's husband, Don Wright, in an attempt to save the failing hotel.    After the photos of the Beatles fishing out of their hotel room were published, the hotel became very popular with rock stars and fans who to this day want to stay in the room where the Beatles stayed.
