On July 31, 1968, The Beatles did something that is still pretty much unheard of. They decided to give away for free everything in their Apple Boutique when it was decided that it would be best for the store to close it's doors. And while going to Apple to get a free item wasn't as awesome as meeting a real Beatle, it comes pretty close in my book! How exciting it must have been to have been waiting in line with other Beatle fans and getting a free Beatle souvenir! I would have been happy with a price tag or hanger! Here are some cool photos from that day.
