During the Beatles years together as well as solo-years, the members of the Beatles met many radio D.J.'s across the United States. I have read quite a few interviews over the years from various disc jockey's about how their biggest accomplishment was interviewing a Beatle or that the only time he or she was nervous was in front of the Beatles. I would guess that a whole lot of those D.J.'s were fans of the Fab 4 and they were excited about meeting them because they were fans as much as meeting them for the radio.
