The Cavendish stairs (oops...1st photo only)

It isn't very often that us mere fans (the ones of us that don't go through the bathroom window that is) can see what it looks like inside Paul's London home on Cavendish Avenue. A few fans (Barb Fenrick and Leslie Samuels come to mind) have been inside, but most have met Paul at the outside gates. So here are some photos of the Cavendish staircase.

  1. Is it that little voice in the back of my head that says "are those the samee stairs?

Picture 1 and 3 seem the same, but picture 2 doesn't seem to feet somehow.

  3. I believe the second photo isn't from Cavendish Avenue.

The same image was recently featured on the excellent Kenwood blog in a post celebrating Paul's wedding and subsequently removed after some info from Tammy, as stated in the corresponding comments.

Not sure where it is from, though...

  4. The third photo of newlyweds Paul and Linda with Heather and Ruth McCartney was taken at Rembrandt in March 1969.

  6. The bottom picture was indeed taken at Rembrandt. It was the home of Angie & Jim McCartney(a gift from Paul). The picture was taken by my friend Angie McCarney and features Paul, Linda, Ruth and Heather. Ruth and Heather were appearing in a school pantomime that year - hence the 'garb'. Hope this helps.

  7. The second photo is Peasmarsh (taken by Linda), not Cavendish.
