This photo is one that I have in color, but much smaller. I scanned this black and white version from a fan magazine that was published in 1990. The caption says "George and Zac 1967." Who is Zac? The only Zac I am aware of is obviously Zac Starkey. Since you can only see the top of the kid's head, it is difficult to tell who it is! The haircut looks sort of like Susan Baker's little brother, Phillip. Of well...doesn't really matter because George is the most important person in the photo anyhow.
I don`t think 1967 is right. From what I could gather George had a mustache throughout that year and much longer hair, at least later in the year.
ReplyDeleteThis looks more like a typical 1965/1966 moptop, possible with a the start of a beard - so maybe right after the 1966 US tour. By September he had shorter hair and a mustache which went off for short while in November. So either August/September 1966 or November- (latest)mid-January 1967. Probably rather the first timeframe.
If this is 65/66, it is unlikely to be Zac Starkey as he was still an infant.
