Some of Jessie Ed Davis' former girlfriend's photographs. Pattie Daily was with Davis during John's "Lost Weekend" period and met all of the Beatles and snapped photos of them. The heartbreaking thing is that these photos were not taken care of very well. They are mostly Polaroids, which are known for deteriorating quickly. I also suspect that she kept these photos in magnetic album, because many of her photos look as if they are being ruined by the acid in the album. It reminds me of a special I was watching a few years ago with Courtney Love. She was showing the interviewer her wedding album from when her and Kurt Cobain got married in Hawaii. These wedding photos were all stuck in magnetic albums! I about lost it! The marriage photos of two famous rock stars is going to fall apart in 20 years! So once again...a friendly reminder to all of you photo lovers out there. If you have photos that are not in acid free albums (and especially if they are in magnetic albums), you need to remove them right away. My love for photos in general is what sparks my collecting of Beatles photos, and I would hate for anyone to throw away such precious mementos of life because of poor storage. Anyhow...on with the Beatles photos...

what a shame! they are gorgeous photos. and i too severely dislike those magnetic albums, they ruined several of my family photos. luckily, my beatle photos were on "regular" albums, no glue.
