I am not sure what this letter is all about, but I like the photo and wish it was much larger.

    Young songwriters from the early Apple days. I wonder what the mix was Paul was talking about. Clearly the recording sessions for the White Album were well under way. I'm gonna guess August? Maybe mixes of Hey Jude? (Paul was actively playing that one for people a LOT)

    It just dawned on me that Paul COULD be discussing Drew & Dy's recording, which Paul had supervised.

    :-) Yes, that must be it... but it's kind of a random abbreviation. Typical Beatle nutiness...
