beatlesletter
One of my prized possessions is this letter that my late cousin Patricia sent my father after The Beatles played The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. It's especially cool because Patricia always worked in music and eventually owned her own record store. If there was a fire in my apartment I would grab this so fast, I love that she mixed up George and John!
So beautiful this letter! I just found something (not as good but interesting), pages of my mom, when she was in typing class in high school.....pages and pages (all yellowing) of typing exercises until suddenly, there typed out neatly, are the lyrics to "Don't Bother Me" and "Please Please Me". And then back to typing class, ha!
Neat indeed! And I love that she got John & George mixed up :)
