Although it brings me back to a terrible time, it also reminds me of the warm consolation of a grief shared by the millions of us who held John in such genuine and deep affection. I try to explain that to people I know who were either not around or too young to remember... and your post does a perfect job of illustrating that feeling. Keep up your great work. I love this blog!
