Paul and his Beatle cut

I am really loving these photos! I had one of them, but it had cut Neil out of the photo. Paul is wearing that anchor shirt yet again!

  1. I swear that anchor shirt is the only t-shirt he owned for a while

  2. LOL vision I think you are right! But that is alright. He looked good in it. I wonder if he still has that shirt.

  4. Anonymous, I wish I knew the dates of these photos! I would guess sometime in 1966 because that is when Paul wore that shirt the most.

  5. Looks like a hotel - in the back of the first picture you can see a sign that seems to tell which room numbers are on this floor.
In the second there is a poster that says "King...".
I think Paul is traveling here.

  6. You are right, Ken. It sure does look like Paul is traveling. I will look into seeing if Paul took any trips with Neil Aspinall in 1966 (I only know of the Safari trip with Mal off the top of my head.)

  7. I found that Paul and Neil went to a hotel on May 27, 1966 (from Barry Miles Beatles diary)

Accompanied by Keith Richards and Brian Jones, Paul and Neil Aspinall went to Dolly's Club on Jermyn Street to meet Bob Dylan the day his European tour reached London. Afterwards they all went back to Dylan's room at the Mayfair Hotel to listen to a set of test pressings he had with him from his most recent sessions.

  8. The sign in the background appears to say "King for a day" and I think it is hotel advertisement.

It's the US tour August 1966 but not sure of the city. It's definitely not the UK.
