I have posted this photo here before, but here it is more complete. This time we can see that a fan is in the photograph with Paul in his red shirt! At first I thought Lizzie was in the photo, but I was incorrect. That is a British Paul fan named Jean. Lizzie did take this photo!
Oh good - another shot that shows the beaded piece Paul wears with his Sgt Pepper costume. I'd love to know the history of it!
ReplyDeleteDear Sara, that is NOT me with Paul, that's Jean Tucker, a British Paul fan. I TOOK the photo, along with 3 other frames, outside the Saville Theatre. As for the necklace, my friend Denise (also from Rio) remembers giving it to him - but I can't swear it's true, as we used to give them several necklaces at the time. It might be a similar one.

ReplyDeleteThey always went to the Saville. Brian Epstein owned the theatre. We used to go to see if they were there and many times they were. I have the date in my diary, but I can't look for it now, sorry, I'm busy.
