Sweet Lady Jane

Jane Asher is one classy woman. I would like to think that her and Paul were able to remain friends, but somehow I don't think that was the case.

  1. I think at best there's a level of respect between them. I believe Paul appreciates the fact that Jane never spoke or wrote about him as everyone else had done. He even mentioned it in the Beatles' Anthology book. I also think Jane's influence is still with him- he still lives in St. John's Wood and owns the Scotland farm he bought while with her (in respect for Linda who fell in love with the farm and made it her own), Paul also uses Jane's social skills of who's who in London, arts of stage and Broadway, etc. She taught a Liverpulian Scruff how to get around.
